Line sakana park skiing?

I’ve never tried a swallowtail ski and the line sakana looks really fun and i’ve heard it’s kind of twin tipped so does this mean i can hit rails and jumps on it?

Yeah I ride mine switch all the time but I would not want to land switch on any remotely big.

It’s not as twin tipped as you’d want in the park but it’s still a blast to rip around. The mount point is pretty far back to be put in the park ski category but that doesn’t mean you can’t mount it way forward if you’d like. Plus the 150mm wide tip felt a little awkward to me while riding specifically park. Outside of the park it was one of my favorite skis and i regret ever selling it.

164 is way too short for you. Line recommends getting them shorter than normal but not that short. I am 5'9 and ride the 174s. You most likely should be on the 181.

For what it's worth the Season Nexus is basically a lovechild of the Sakana and Sir Francis Bacon. There's DNA from both in there and while it doesn't have a swallowtail (which as far as I can tell doesn't change anything except in pow), it has a metal insert in the tail, so it still looks unique. It's still basically a ski for ripping turns IMO but it has way more freestyle DNA so it'll do fine in the park too. It's actually a pretty unique ski, we'll have a review coming soon but if you're looking at the Sakana, but wanting to ski park, I'd definitely recommend it.

Can second the nexus recommendation. Crazy fun to carve, stable enough to ski pretty hard, and a super playful shape and flex.

The noses are kinda soft but the tails are pretty stiff. The noses still are not super soft though.
