eheathMembers online isn't really a great metric, I'm pretty sure the list is at least 5-10 mins delayed and there is a chance like half of those members online are actually browsing and this is a small representation of how many people actually visit the site.
That being said, unique monthly visitors is metric used to measure this kind of thing, in the haydays NS was pulling 1M+ a month, now days is probably closer to 100-200k average.
