So my question actually is - why allow both poles and no poles? What’s the history on this?
I guess I can’t think of a reason why in other disciplines poles would be required.
Given how aerials is so traditionally the no poles acrobatic event, so to speak, actually saying we want this to look different so we will require poles might be good?
I imagine there’s tremendous amount of personal preference if to have poles or not which is why I’d think the event would be more explicit about it.
Insights? Regardless tremendous talents on display.
