Replying to Park skis for an almost 7 footer?
Hello everyone, my name is Elias. I'm new to the forums but from what I've seen, this is a good place to look for help. I'm 20 years old, and I've been skiing for roughly 10 years. The skis I have right now are Nordica Enforcer 110's. I originally bought these skis not knowing much about different ski types, and I got them because they where twin tips. But after skiing on them for about 2 seasons now, I've realized that they are a good ski, but just being used for the wrong application. Right now I stand at 6'9 and I weight about 230 pounds. I also wear a size 34 boot. I would like to get myself a proper pair of park skis, but at my size, options are slim. I want to be able to do nose butters and tricks of that nature, but everyone I've asked about the subject recommends a stiffer ski to be able to support my height. I also want skis that are lighter and that I can maneuver easily but I don't want to risk breaking them. I usually run a 191, but I've been considering running shorter skis (188, 185) for park just because its harder to swing around skis that long. Good Idea? or no. The skis I'm interested in are:
-Faction Prodigy 2.0 (Too stiff? will center mounting be any issue?)
-ON3P Jeffrey 102 (Ill have to buy them custom made, do I stick with stock flex? or do changes need to be made)
-Atomic Bent Chetler 100 (Technically an all mountain ski, but I've heard that they do well in the park, good option?)
I apologize for all of the questions, but all off my park rat friends are significantly shorter than me, and don't have any answers. Id appreciate the help. Feel free to throw in any other recommendations.
