What does an AC joint tear feel like?

Tried the first rodeo 5 of the season today and for some reason I had my poles, I usually always drop them for the first few inverts of the season. Anyways, I come around to 5 but land front seat and fall over forward. Mid fall my pole gets caught on something either the snow or under a ski. I of course had them strapped up on my wrists so my arm was basically fucked if my pole got snagged. Had I not had the poles I probably would’ve braced my fall just fine. So I tweaked my shoulder and I feel like it might be a torn AC joint. The pain isn’t brutal just some movements are uncomfortable. I feel pressure/pain in my upper collar bone area. Anyone who has done it. What does the pain feel like? Could u move it at all? Just trying to gauge the possibility of what it could/couldn’t be.

Gonna be real with you G,
if you ever have to ask “ow that hurt, did I tear/break [body part]?” The answer 95% of the time is yes.
go to a doctor, hopefully it’s just a minor tweak and you will have a quick recovery.

If you have full range of motion then I'd ice it and take some ibuprofen and wait a week because it could be swelling from a bruise. If it still hurts after a week then see a doctor so you can be sure

I was going to say it feels similar to breaking collarbone at least to me. If its not that bad its prolly not that bad. If shoulder isn't drooping much or looking deformed. Good idea to take it easy, like take a break for a couple weeks and go from there. Not worth fucking it up worse.
If you have health insurance or have a cheap spot for an xray can get that done. They'll probsbly tell you eithet it's fine. Really small and to chill for s minute, or you did the thing a bit but not bad, its not too deformed and to chill for a little bit.
If it hurts take a break and reevaluate later.

Also falling hurts sometimes even if you dont break or tear anything. If it feels better tomorrow and no pain really moving it you might be fine. Still probably worth tsking a little break and going easy on it.
