Snowshoe rail lineup looking mostly rideable this year, hell yeah. Usually we get 50/50 decent rails and hot garbage so this is a definite improvement.
Last season when I tried a 4 on, my knee became really painful and had to take a couple hours break. I just landed three of them in a row, pain free. Crashed on a few of the attempts first and still no pain in my knees :)
Anything good worth skiing at Winter Park besides Ash Cat? I heard HiLo opened and the trees were decent. Super Gauge looks like ass currently and apparently snowmaking just hasn't gone well on Jane side.

ReturnToMonkeyYea but the park has a rope tow now! First mountain in the west to have a rope tow park? (Not counting summer camps). Also you can ski all the powder the run down to the park, no need to not hit the park

Are they for the park though? The only other rope tow I've used before is at the top of A Basin that you reach the back side with and it is way less aggressive than Big Sky's park rope

That would be my brother @1337 who spent countless hours working on this project. Unbelievably proud to be a part of the journey and see all the work he put in pay off.
My local delayed opening by a week from this Friday to next. 3 of the 4 seasons I’ve been bumming the resort I’m at has had a late start, I think I’m cursed

does the term industry plant even make sense in skiing? yes you get crazy opportunities but most people wouldn't be able to accomplish the same even if they had the same opportunities. as a skier you still gotta work pretty hard, not quite the same as musicians
Still kinda regretting buying beat Revolt 104's months ago off Locals Sale rather than buying the Season Kins at my local Play It Again Sports or holding out for a good deal on used Bdogs. Revolt topsheets are chipped as hell and edges are kinda rusted. And while I love the rocker, I don't think it is gonna be great on the ice coast. But we ball.

Need some input on what to do. I have a pair of old ON3P jeronimos that are mounted with new pivots, and a pair of new Jeffery’s that aren’t mounted. I’m going to Colorado on Wednesday and am trying to decide whether to take the mounted jmos or take the bindings off the jmos, retire them since they’ve been drilled a few times already, and mount the pivots on the Jeffery’s. I feel like long term I should obviously mount the Jeffery’s but idk if I want to buy bindings rn, and not sure if my heart will let me retire the Jmos :(
production quality on the world cup races is worse than FWTs. you’d think all that racer money could buy them some working mics? or maybe there’s a european broadcast that’s better? kind of surprising
