It’s a kickass little resort, decent park, chill terrain, great people, and the crowds are basically zero. Definitely would say it is worth it.
4 pack is also the most chill pass ever lol, transferable, and also can be used all on one day I believe. Meaning 4 people could ski that same day

I'm sort of intrigued, but being that far off the ski vertically is such a huge dealbreaker and the ski itself is already supposed to be the suspension lol

Do it, those skis are awesome. I also copped a deal on a pair last year and they're my go to pow ski / big mountain ski now. Absolutely rip and also pretty nimble especially if you center Mount. Also get lots of compliments on them from ogs reminiscing
I'm mad confused why people are so adamant about getting a helmet with MIPS. It's literally just a slip-layer. It's a sheet of plastic. It's been proven that if you have hair or wear a beanie you get the same exact effect. It's not some magic bullet that makes your helmet a billion times safer. If you're not fucking bald, it's redundant. Is it the marketing that got people freaked out about it? How did we get here?

I just don't get it. Every helmet thread is filled with "make sure you get the one with MIPS" but why? Nobody ever explains why. What does it do for you? It feels like "just buy full tilts" for helmets to me... idk. I do a bunch of action sports that require helmets, and none of them have this mentality around MIPS.

It's definitely not marketing. MIPS protects from rotational forces. Rotational forces happen in a sport like skiing almost always when you hit your head. Google it and you will find better answers

Im in the same boat as you. As long as you have hair MIPS is kind of irrelevant. Take motocross a much more dangerous sport for example, a lot of helmet do not have MIPS and they are just fine and most of the time better than the ones with MIPS. Motocross racers experience a way higher rotational force when crashing compared to skiing. Im a fan of protecting your noodle but MIPS isnt the end all be all.
The report on the website sucks. Use the national weather service. Though if trump gets his way there will be no publicity available weather forecasting. I don’t think most people realize just how much this will affect climate change and the environment. Scientists have some pretty scary numbers. Might be the last good winter. 💀

There are tons of motorcycle and motocross helmets that use mips.
