GrandThingsDude 100% - I'm a lanky mf so I could brush the tops of my skis just by reaching down, but then I'd land so front seat and go over the handlebars. It was an epiphany when I realize it was easier to suck my legs up and get into a little ball.
When you grab mute, do you go left ski over right, then grab left ski with right hand? What's sketching me out is the crossing skis part.
(I still only hit small/medium jumps so I might not get enough air time to do a real proper one, but I'd love to get a photo of me doing a legit mute grab)
You don't even need to cross skis to grab mute, it just looks better if you do. You can kinda shifty it and lock in the grab without crossing skis. Might be a less scary way for you to learn it

I don’t even think about the crossing skis part it just kinda happens naturally

Yeah this was my first way of doing it (trailing if spinning left). But after my knee surgery it hurts my knee to do that, so I usually do lead, which is right ski over left and grab with my left hand.

^ reminds me of his less part, and upon rewatching even though its super clean audio editing, i hate how far they cut forward in the song right off the bat, like right after the first bar its immediately 3/4 of the way through the song and in the middle of a random verse

MN got the cold front and it should dip below freezing tonight but i don’t think it’s strong enough for the first snowmaking push. it’s warming back up again in the next few days, might have to wait till november

Dlonettiwhat’s their deal i just saw them on insta for the first time. those pants actually look pretty sick
they were/are apart of the Freeski Brand triad from back the of Surface, Joystick Poles, and Causwell. They had a flagship store in the Salt Lake Valley (that's now The Gear Room IIRC) that sold all their outwear, Surfaces lineup of skis (at the time) and Joystick stuff. You could also go there and exchange broken skis for a new pair.

I have been blessed with the ability to have AWESOME ski dreams. they are so cool, too bad I'm not that good in real life! my dad never dreams about skiing, it's always about getting ready to ski or driving to the area, but then it's like all grass or something lol. the ski areas in my mind are so damn coollll.
