a lot of bases will be solid color and a cut out insert of their logo. i hate that shit. one time i ripped out the ‘a’ on fatypus.
I would rather full solid color, black ideally or a solid clear base like J skis/ON3P does that shows off a graphic underneath.
my moments have multiple large pieces of different base and i do think the varying colors/materials do have ever so slight performance differences especially being on the nose of one ski and tail of the other

Might be a conspiraski but I've long held the belief that red bases are faster and worse
And also death to diecut bases, long love sublimated graphic bases

Lol
(shoutout whoever pushed this GOAT base graphic through, even if they reused all the off cuts on the different base graphics I imagine it was a pain in the ass to assemble them)

i’ve seen multiple crews hit this MN rail in different ways, does anyone know if/who has completed the whole thing and the video it’s in?
Of Course they posted it on tiktokwhining for it to go viral and seek validation of those who don’t even understand (???) No hate but cmon I hate that shit.

one of my biggest pet peeves in skiing is people who post clips where they didn’t get the trick just to still try and show off that they’re trying a 3 swap, dub, etc to get validation. have a couple people in mind on insta who do it incessantly
From Pine Knob MI to Park City to now Colorado again. Life is a fucking trip and I can't wait to wear my patrol vest again in November. Stay safe this weekend yall.
Coming up on the first winter in a place I havent lived in several years....Have met a few skiers but no one who tours. I almost prefer skiing at the resort by myself, but dont know the area well enough to tour alone. How in the world do you meet touring partners in a new area.
That being said, anyone in Boise are who tours, il be looking to hit MCS almost every weekend and some dawn patrol at Bogus so HMU. I have my Avy 1 and several years touring in Bozeman under my belt.

Talk to people on the lift and tell them you enjoy doing 5000 feet of vert to pizza down for 5 minutes.

I agree, but at the same time it's pretty sick to see what someone was trying. It's better if you put it in a rough cut edit though, it does give off the vibe that you're seeking validation if it's straight to insta. For me, I'd be down to see clips of pros trying tricks that they never landed, cause lots of people have tried lots of tricks that never worked

This reminds me of when I watched a little bit of the red bull unrailistic event that jesper tjader put on. Like 80%+ of the hits on features were uncompleted slides lmao

there’s definitely the right way to do it and the wrong way to do it (in my opinion) and it’s subjective and hard to put into words. i just don’t want to see non makes claimed as makes/using non makes as influencer click bait-y type shit. bit of the hater in me coming out

"Validation" I promise you ahall and hunter aren't seeking that from anyone, p sure they're self aware and just trying to rake in views and get paid, p sure TikTok still pays you by the view count (unlike insta, which has ZERO monetary incentive anymore)

The XT3 140's look ridiculous but that boot sounds awesome. But we don't need the eyesore 80s totally rad bro eyesore colorways. Midnight blue looked way better on those.

Skiing needs less bland colors. Im sick of navy, blacks and reds.
I welcome the 80s rad bro. Hell lets bring back skittle kids.
