I actually know one of the main ski testers for the site, apparently the shredsox guys reached out to get them to test but were still asking for a deposit lol
nCrowGavin Rudy has gotta be the best skier-filmer out there. Love his style, it’s sick he’s actually on the Salomon depart team
he also designed the 2nd pair of J Skis that was a NS x J Skis collab and they were the fuckin sickest topsheet and the thread bottomsheet was pretty all time as well. i copped a pair even though they were soooo small for me lol.
i was gonna post a link but j skis has their website locked for a new launch which is pretty annoying lol
ive had day dreams of infinite money or alternate realities where life is completely on the hill. so like to go to the grocery store it would be at an angle and you would snake run back and forth through the store and ski out at the bottom. the roadways would be under ground and houses shops above and you would ski to work and ski home etc.

There was an episode of Rocket Power where they were snowboarding inside of their house or something that I faintly remember thats kinda like this lol

Damn I really miss skiing, also the new Declivity X topsheet feels like a funeral for Tof Henry, dark, depressing, black, and yet poweful, fast, and meaningful.

@Farmville420 ’s skis still holding up strong. I’ve ridden these 2-3x times a week so far this summer and still treating me well. Funny thing about these poachers is that they’ve had so much days from Vinny that they softened a ton and now feel like a soft ski which is sick.

Lmfao shoutout poachers, the most bombproof ski on the market
Honestly the poacher might just be the best produced ski over the past decade in terms of durability

Speaking of binding fitments. Attacks mounted for a 328 assuming center adjusted wouldn’t be able to go down to a 304 correct? I believe they have 32mm total adjustment. So would need a remount? Would just remounting the heel work or would there be issues with the holes.

PartyBullshiitFor reference here’s a 95 on a 99. And a 115 on a 107.
Retracted
Brakes down
I wouldn't put 115s to skis under 108. I have 115 on 110 skis and if I land my skis together the brakes hit each other and makes a sound like a star wars laser gun. Little bit more space in there and I would die. Good thing they started making the 105 brake.
I hate Marker for having 100 and 125 options for duke pts. 125s were a nightmare on 108 wide skis and baggier pants, but the 100 size is too tight for anything over 108.

Moment specifically recommends 115 for the meridians which are 107. Same with the wildcat 108. They drop down to 95 with the deathwish 104. When talking pivots. Yes the 105 is going to be a big benefit in the future.

OP3N says this so I guess at around 105-107 it's personal preference,

Right so they recommend the 115 as well for the 108. Unless you want the brake arms wearing down the sidewalls. I personally don’t want the arms rubbing up and down my sidewalls everytime.

115s on 110s. I don't know if you can tell something from the ass pic.
That’s a perfect pic. See how nice and straight your brakes arms are at the bend. Now look at the on3p pic and notice how the arms on the 95’s are bending upwards because of the pressure since they don’t fit properly. That’s one of the fastest ways to break pivots brakes. They do not like being bent and creating unneeded pressure. There really is no overhang when retracted on my meridians 107 and there is no additional stress on the brake arms. Win win.

The laser gun sounds just annoys me, but I guess working brakes are better option..
On dukes I had to sand down the plastic things on the smaller size in order to make them kinda fit, I don't understand why they make them so thick. The bigger breakes lost 2 of the plactic hands or whatever while I was trying to make my skis get unstuck. It's not super fun when you take off with normal skis and land with a monoski. The bigger brakes on the dukes also got stuck to my pants while carving :D. Never again. MARKER WHERE ARE THE 110mm BRAKES???
Me over here stressing for next season cuz I bought skis that are too small and don't know anyone who wants to trade them for the 191 of the same ski cuz I'm too broke to buy new ones. Dad said "told you so" and said I should deal with it.

Same with my strive 100’s on my deathwish 104. Plastics been getting worn away on the inside. That’s a pro of the pivot brakes. The plastic parts are thin compared to the other brands.
