I got tired and kinda fell off end of the season but I didn’t really close the chapter. I didn’t feel like I had season closure. I kinda cruised through end of season. So now I am left feeling a huge itch that I haven’t felt since I moved back to CO. Usually, I am exhausted until August and then want to ski again.
Guess I’m hiking the high peaks and glaciers this summer because I have to scratch this itch.

GayWolf420As soon as the solstice hit, I was like "Yeah i kind of wanna go skiing again." I got promoted up to being a FT/YR course maintenance guy with season pass perks through Grand Countys Chamber of Commerce so I might just Patrol PT next season and get back to skiing for funsies and not for a paycheck. This season really burnt me out and day-off skiing just didn't feel as fun as it used to be + all the behind the scenes bullshit of the resort. HMU if you're ever near RMNP/Grand Lake. I just like to do lil walks near Lake Granby and Shadow Mtn.
Fraser is cool as fuck. Leland Creek is awesome.

Yeah man for sure. I don’t get up to granby much but it’s beautiful up there. I want to ski ski granby next year though with my partner tickets. I’ll hit you up when I’m in the area!
officechairWhat's the situation at Alta right now? Don't have a touring setup or any avalanche gear, but would it be fine right now to do some of the more mellow stuff? I was told there are trails you can hike up and to stay on them?
KalmarJalmarNumber one goal for next season is to get enough clips for a season edit. This should motivate me try new tricks more often because I can't make 3min video full of 360s and 2s out.
Second goal is to make video from my skiing travels.
I usually film max 3 "clips" per season. We'll see if filming makes skiing more fun.

cyphersi bet it's hella fun in pow but especially with the convex base i'd imagine it's impossible to carve. seems like it's for heli ski guides or someone that literally never touches hardpack
