GayWolf420I don't know why LCC/BCC "locals" even bother complaining anymore. Much like I70 from Denver, you all know what you're getting yourselves into whenever it snows. You can't blame the big bad resort companies when there's like almost 3 million people in the SLC valley alone all chomping at the bit to go ski on good days. Those places stopped caring about their loyal customers years ago and probably never did to begin with.

officechairWeekly screw snowbird and everyone who “saves their days” while complaining about solitude all season.
officechairNow that Brighton and Solitude do parking reservations, BCC has been fine this year. Snowbird refuses and it's showing by the crowds that show up every storm. Alta is often empty if you can get past Snowbird, which is a big if some days. The frustrating part is knowing you having a parking spot waiting but you're stuck in stopped traffic while the 100th car tries parallel parking on the street in front of Snowbird. Might do a Brighton pass next year and avoid LCC altogether.

SlushSeasonI'm giving Alta a try next year. Snowbird doesn't deserve my money anymore, but I'm not ready to give up the LCC terrain yet.
Plus the clusterfuck of Brighton's lift lines is just as annoying as Snowbird's fast passes
BigPurpleSkiSuitjust have parking reservations at Snowbird like Alta does it.
officechairThis year it's been mostly manageable by leaving at 9:30-10, but today was one of the worst I've seen all season. My clutch was on fire after an hour crawling up to Tanner Gulch, so I turned around to avoid a massive car repair. And I got word from a friend that Alta was empty.

Pablo_Sanchez@SteezyYeeter that kid throwing massive backflips at MRG is insane
SlushSeasonYeah, traffic was terrible today for no good reason. I was to the canyon by 7 this morning and it still took 45 minutes to snowbird. My friends that left an hour later spent over 2 hours crawling up the canyon
I'm looking forward to skiing Alta next year where i can avoid morning traffic and show up at noon instead.
BigPurpleSkiSuitI'm trying to understand how the entire lots and everything was filled up by 9 and yet I skied onto Peruvian pretty much all day.
SlushSeasonYeah, that was weird. Peruvian was great all day, but every other lift I went to was swamped. I guess the average IKON visitor doesn't realize that there's more to Peruvian than 3 groomers and a cat track.
SlowbroI suck at sw 2s but am going to try some tomorrow wish me luck

Got it. This was the first sw tails 2 I ever landed lol
Dlonettihell yeah dude, once they clicked they felt super easy for me. its just like a little bit of patience off the lip and then quick rotate your hips. tho I prefer sw lip 2 which some people think is weird. now I feel like if I can go switch on a feature, I should be able to switch 2 it.
officechairI might just do brighton pass + solitude next year to avoid the snowbird mess. Friend said BCC has been super easy to deal with this year. Don’t know the best solution for LCC, but free for all ain’t it.
ThegenericskierEvery day I have available to go skiing it seems it always snows :( I just want a nice not snowing day at big sky
BigPurpleSkiSuithopefully we can keep it that way.
GayWolf420can you at least still park at Bypass Road? For me, it was going back to the truck for lunch and/or beers/safety meetings and wait until things settle-down in terms of crowds and then go hammer some laps.
BigPurpleSkiSuitThere is always a spot if you look hard enough and know a thing or two
GayWolf420Ive had a ton of fun skiing mega resorts and/or places that are on every skiers bucketlist to check out, but I'm falling in love with the indy resort vibe going on lately. I really wanna go ski Powderhorn sometime.
BradFiAusNzCoCaPowerhorn was my local for a season. It’s a grand old time. I really wanted to make it there this year especially since I get 3 free partner tickets. Last I saw, the main express lift was down but they do have Poma Leitner down in town (GJ) but they’re waiting for a part from Europe
SchizoSkierU lived in GJ?
Dlonettiskied street last night and the homie clipped, ive got another spot built im trying to clip at today or tomorrow. off to bozeman thursday for the level 1 rail jam and some big sky and bridger. closing in on 100 days this season. life + skiing is cool
nmwninjart100 days!!! I bet you'll get more next year!
I'm happy to hit 60 this weekend. That's better than my average!

profa_212Damn dudes I hit five days this season and popped my knee in the mammoth parking lot lmao
BigPurpleSkiSuitI hope that when Candide is about 60 he drops that he's actually got dozens of hours of footage he never released and it'll all be dropped at once.
