SlowbroSkied in -22 today there were still some solid pockets of powder and was a good day overall but damn my toes are not built for that shit. Also was too windy to build a jump :^(
MinggCan’t relate. It was 50 today 😂 love me some spring skiing though so can’t really complain either
SlowbroWe had spring skiing all winter in AB and now that it's spring we're getting january conditions lol. Not complaining as long as the snow keeps coming
GayWolf420New STH16s are fucking insane, bros. Shit makes you feel like you're going to shoot out of your boots with that power transfer and elasticity.
BradFiAusNzCoCaDo you mean the strive? I thought STH line was discontinued

r00kieShower thought:
If ski areas really want people to start using public transportation options to get to the hill, they need to drastically increase the amount of lockers available and stop pricing them as some elite members only thing. I think about taking the $10 bus up to bogus on weekends but never do. I hate driving the road, and gas and vehicle wear and tear probably makes the bus a financially incentive option. But I need space for my things. A spare layer, my lunch, another set of skis for when it gets tracked out, spare gloves, etc. Give me space to put all those things while I’m skiing and now the bus is a much more welcoming option.
egirl.ski15 year old pivots are not worth 300$ wtf people

ReturnToMonkeyI usually ski alone for maybe half the season but this season I've skied alone for like one day. Today I got frustrated with my friends and went off by myself and was reminded how nice it can be to ski alone sometimes.
One thing was I found some sweet looking trees, untracked. I decided to stay out because it looked like I should worry about tree wells and my friend got caught in one yesterday. How do you ski deep trees or other sketchy stuff when by yourself?

GayWolf420Lone-wolfing is sometimes the best feeling ever but I had a really gnarly experience at Brighton once. I got blown-up on a hidden traverse path that was covered by wind-drifted snow and it sent me feet-first into a tree well thankfully. I called-it on the day after that. It is good to have eyes-on partners in deep snow situations however. I've become a fan of skiing with avy gear in bounds.

Thegenericskieryesterday bridger got what is considered to be a powder day same with bigsky and yet still no urge to leave the park
ReturnToMonkeyBro you gotta see how it feels to land a backflip into powder
Thegenericskierthough i have zero experience of skiing deep snow rodeo 7 blunt feels better than backflip into powder (as of now) my opinion is subject to change if i ever decide to leave swifty
timdrachanits plus 14 out and all of my coworkers will not shut up about how nice it is and how they hate the snow and this has been the best winter ever.
I cant help it but hearing shit like that puts me in a foul mood. And worst part is nobody is concerned we are losing winter in Canada of all places.
All I can hope for is nuclear winter at this point.
yaskatai found out we have no backflippable stuff in my local resorts sidecountry

ReturnToMonkeyAny tips on how to do clean spins off a donkey dick? I can consistently do it now, but either I'm way bent over on landing or my arms go crazy, no matter how hard I try not to do those things
BradFiAusNzCoCaRuby Hill Rail yard closes Thursday. I regret not going more this season. Only went twice so far this year. Went Saturday and had so much fun.
