So turns out I most likely did not tear my labrum in my hip. I demolished my
hip flexors instead. But those will heal on their own in a couple months. So no surgery for me! Pretty stoked

Hopefully they drop a sick street video in the fall to make up for their poor performance here.
Other than it being an ikon resort, I’m confused why Solitude doesn’t have more park people. The one on Main Street looks good. Was enjoying watching people go huge on the left side jumps. Moonbeam is also a much better lift than Majestic.
Dani Bacher really is a leader of this new wave, something special about watching that kid ski. Seems common to hear people complain about the younger generations for this or that but the kids are alright if you ask me. The biggest name during my generation would talk with a fake Jamaican accent for christs sake, for as cringe as some of these youngins are they really don’t compare to previous generation cringe. Skiing is in a good place rn, you kids are pretty cool for the most part and it doesn’t get acknowledged enough
I think today may have been the last decent conditions for the year. I had a lot of fun, but saw so many weird things: someone having a meltdown outside the rental shop, a collision on the most wide open terrain with no one else around, people filling Stanley mugs up with spring water off the road in BCC, a dad letting his kid try to walk up a park jump after going too slow to make it (for at least 10 minutes while people had to go around the kid to hit the jump), someone say they’ve owned their full tilts for 10 years and still can’t tell which boot is right and left.
