I’m guessing by Perfect North you mean Timberline? I am close by I work out of Morgantown. I mainly ski at Wisp cause it’s 20 mins from my house. Make a trip or 2 to snowshoe every year.

I do stop by Wisp and Springs occasionally, shoutout Colby holding it down for us. I've got a few buddies in Cincinnati that I crash with for Perfect north trips, but it's only a 3.5 hour trip each way so I do daytrip occasionally. Haven't been to Timberline yet, heard mixed things about their parks.
Got a ton of buddies in motown who ski pretty regularly, all those Pathfinder guys rip skis or boards or sometimes both. Ski scene in motown is awesome, trying to move back to that area tbh.

Gotcha. I didn’t realize perfect north was so close. They bought Timberline a few years ago and have made that place awesome. lol I’ve known Colby for a long time.
Ski scene in Morgantown used to be even wilder. The Motown Throwdown was such a sick event. Closed down High Street and brought a massive 3 rail stair set in for a rail jam. Shit was wild.
SteezyYeeteri skied park for the first time this season yesterday and goddamn do i have respect for you guys. to be a good park skier truly requires skill. i hit the jump line mostly, and did some 3s on park jumps which i hadn't before. it was fun.

to be fair, i still use my hotmail to sign up for bullshit things like if i go to a new resort, make a username for a site, or something. all financials, job applications, important stuff goes to my gmail though.
only problem is this is my third year of hucking corks and not getting them, mine are way too flippy and idk how to change it. im so angry i just wanna cork sev blunt and i have tried so many times i just cant get it.

officechairLooking for suggestions on a foot issue again. I've had problems with my 4th toe only going painfully numb after a couple hours. It's happened with multiple boots, liners, and footbeds. I'm at a loss here. It doesn't show up hiking, climbing, running, etc.
Update for the 0 people following. Was messing around with standing positions barefoot and found a position that caused the issue. It seemed to be when my 4th toe twists, so I taped it to my 3rd toe and the pain didn’t show up today. Super weird but I may have solved it.

You see so much of the worst people I’m surprised I haven’t acted up yet. Today at Brighton a Cybertruck was blipping the throttle to fishtail as it drove through the front row of the parking lot, almost sliding into cars just to show off.
setup and pretz are all good and fine, I don’t struggle to rotate around at all, but when it comes to holding the unnat slide, I always land just above my toe piece and fall off early.

also yea like holy wear a helmet.
i was just thinking the lap before that it was kinda cold and i would rather take it off and wear a beanie. thing definitely prevented a much worse time

They do. Typically half their snowpack comes in March-may on average versus early season. And even during low-tide seasons, it's still some of the best skiing ever. Intercontinental snowpacks are kind of rough. But I still like it here don't get me wrong.
It's like there is snow in the forecast for sure but it never accumulates properly and just ends up being a bummer of a 2-4" day despite forecasts calling for more. Maybe it's where I currently live.

Might have my first real pow day of the year? Office job and kids have relegated me to the night ski life and things haven't lined up yet this season for a few uninterrupted hours of +8" inches, but it looks like this evening might be it! Most of the office is out on spring break, hoping I can duck out early and get after it wish me luck!
Vail was nice yesterday. Blower powder. I hit knee deep on some runs but then turned into mashed potatoes around 2pm. Great conditions but Jesus Christ a lot of Texan tourists lately
