Rock_InhabitantTo buy a gopro or not to buy a gopro… that is the question
Rock_Inhabitanthttps://www.newschoolers.com/videos/watch/1107383/--YouTubelook at this shit. 31 minute raw gopro video, no cuts, 4k total views, of this type 2 skier making terrible decisions in the sidecountry. This is the video description:
In this adrenaline-fueled adventure, I tackled the formidable Alpental Upper International and Nash Gate back bowls. Little did I know that my descent would take a dramatic turn. As I hurtled down the steep slopes right of Sucker Chute, I lost control, plunging into deep snow. The situation was rapidly becoming perilous. With sheer determination, I fought to regain my footing and escape the clutches of the mountain. Exhausted and trembling, I emerged from my wintry predicament, forever changed by the raw power of nature.
everyone in the comments was telling him he was a total dumbass and he responds to literally every single comment with some variation of "nah my legs were sore i actually laced this line a few weeks later". then he also says that he bought those bullshit carv sensors to improve his technique lolll
nCrowBooster strap inside or outside shell on 3 piece boot?
BallClapperAsk urself, “do people want to watch a pov of me skiing.” It’s fun to play around with but I tore the sticky off my head twice last year from faceplanting and haven’t bothered getting more rip

SteezyYeeterthis is where my theory of ski patrollers "closing" trails and looking the other way for advanced skiers comes in hand
dognuttzdo i cop some 177 poachers for real cheap on corbetts rn??
ideally want 184s like my reckoners but they are out of stock…
but i also have a pair or blades that are 176 and dont really notice too much of a difference length wise so maybe the 177s would be fine
how much stiffer are poachers compared to reckoners??
GayWolf420Any of you kooks gonna be at Winter Park Patrol Tryouts tomorrow? Kinda going into it super blind but have skied some of the stuff on the assessment list
CeleryWayyyyy stiffer, lots more camber
dognuttzhmmm yea probably not for me
i just want an indestructible semi noodle park ski. is that too much to ask 😂
GayWolf420Holy fuck I passed with one of the higher scores and the paid pro supes/directors were stoked on my skiing. Is this real life?
powpatrolwhat sort of skiing do you have to do one of these?
dognuttzhmmm yea probably not for me

chills__2024 Poachers are supposed to arrive today to replace my 2019 Poachers. Bombproof ski but very stiff even after years of riding. Try to find some reckoners elsewhere if you can
dognuttzyea im pretty temped by the 2025 reckoners once they go on sale when next years come out
seems from the one review on here the durability has finally been addressed a bit
TOAST.If I could get confirmation on the durability from multiple sources I'd be looking at them again.

cypherssame here. my 2023s were held together with epoxy and dreams until they were mercifully killed a few days ago when 6" of edge pulled out and took a ton of core material with it. honestly shocked that fucking temu sidewall they used made it into several seasons of product

jimbobsHitting bigsnow tomorrow en route to killy the rest of the week.
If bigsnow rebuild isn't finished today tho, mountain creek might be the move. Anyone been recently and can report on the parks? I've only ever ridden bikes there.
Any other good options on the morgantown WV -> saratoga springs NY route?
