je_t.aime_canardthe guy at steamboat who assaulted the instructor got caught, he's gone from looking like a lobster to looking like a medieval peasant https://denvergazette.com/outtherecolorado/news/21-year-old-arrested-for-alleged-assault-on-ski-coach-at-colorado-resort/article_14b7f67a-d2a9-11ef-b307-63411c953cdf.html
call me lame but i will never understand how people come to the point of physical altercation over someone else standing in a certain place or absentmindedly cutting them off or whatever. it's corny and a horrible look for us, take a second to think about how much it is actually inconveniencing you in the grand scheme of things

"Us" as in NS, skiers, park skiers, or Colorado locals? I don't think this dude represents a large percentage of any of those.
It's a horrible look for that dude personally, in no photo does he look together. It's also a horrible look for the instructor, he proved he is inept at ski combat. I certainly wouldn't want my offspring learning to ski from such a dishonorable coward.
Yeah I don’t think this guy necessarily represents us based off his helmet, sticker, jacket, anything. Anyone can ski up to a jump.

Getting my seasonal cold at the best time right now. Boutta get some insanely cold weather that’ll make skiing challenging. Ill be in the clear once it passes.
TOAST.Could probably thread in some metal threaded inserts and be good to go

Definitely will eventually. I don't have inserts on hand and I don't have time until February. I have an extra set of FT's to use until I get them back online.
I was pumped to have black outsoles on my FC's instead of the tan ones so it was a bummer to not get that going.
officechair175cm fatypus b-nasty’s. They carve decent as well so seem to be a good firm snow ski.
love fatypus. quality is top notch. i do think they could stand to gain from a rebrand. the name suggests pow skis but they offer a lot more than that. also, i think they could scale up some with a website revamp and increased media presence but maybe thats not even what they want to do which is respectable for sure.

I agree. It’s hard to find info out there and I spent a long time deciding whether I wanted a pair of M5’s because there aren’t any reviews. But Jared was fast to respond to email questions which sealed the deal for me. I think many people would like their skis, but maybe they like remaining small.

Would like to try some but none of the narrower models are long enough.

officechairWhy am I surprised that mogul skis are actually good in moguls? First day trying them in bumps and they feel great.

Because they're crazy narrow and short and cambered. It really makes you wonder if they're any good in the hands of a non-competition skier i.e. us. But now that you said this I'll try and pick up a pair when I find a deal

Always shared this opinion too, the logo and general branding is so obviously bad for such a high quality product otherwise. Any skier kid tapped in with the younger generation with a semester of graphic design classes under their belt could do a better job
