Can I get better goggles for flat light?

Rn I got some giro axis that are pretty nice, the highest VLT is the vivid infrared which is about 58%. And a mirrored one for sunny days

most day I love them but I notice later in the day it’s tough seeing terrain change.

Will getting a yellow lens or something higher really be noticeable enough?

Oakley prism are the best I used. Use to be able to find out of season flight decks for 100 bucks ish

Probably a lot of people would disagree but I quite like completely clear lenses on storm days

sounds nice until the sun pokes out. then you look like a raccoon.

I think sometimes the light is just crap no matter what. clear can be better and usually that is what I switch to when it gets close to sunset if I plan on continuing into the night. I think my spy low light lenses are like 50 % ish for the light blues and 65 % vlt or something for the yellows. I will use either of those on storm days and I can't really tell if one is superior to the other or to the pink bolle gogs that I used to have for low light

I am a huge fan of the Glade Adapt goggle. VLT range is stated as 30%-84% and the lens tinting speed is impressively fast. There are very few conditions in which I'll reach for another goggle (pretty much just the clearest of blue bird days). Love the low light performance though!

As stated above, clear is the way to go. Just keep another lens with you incase vis goes up.

also the pink prism is OP but also much more than a clear lens.

In the PNW I almost exclusively ski clear lens unless im tryna look fly af. Vis sucks most of the time…

I've got the anon low light goggle with some zeiss thing in it and find it much better than the oakley prizm in low light. Really helps define the bumps and features. Enhances it better than clear as well.
