I’ve heard jokes for the longest time that snowboarding takes trends from skating and then freeskiing catches on several years later. But I think that skiing is finally starting to set its own trends that snowboarding catches on to after.
I’ve been seeing tight jackets and baggy pants leak into snowboarding after it blew up in skiing, especially with guys like Dusty Hendrickson wearing Harlaut apparel.
The other big one I’ve been seeing more of is snowboarders with the backwards goggles over the helmet thing, especially at my home hill. I’m wondering if it’s officially okay for snowboarders to do now after Zeb did it at the xgames.
Am I the only one seeing this or am I crazy?
