Can I wash my boot liners

And they have the ID max liner which is heat moldable. My problem tho, is that they smell like shit. Is there any way to wash the liner without damaging it. Thanks!

even moth balls... they're dry

Get a squirt bottle and put some vinegar in it. Take the liners out and give them a good vinegar soak down and that should take care of the smell.

Or you could wear that smell with pride. people will know this guy fucks with skiing. Smelliest dudes know where everything is on the hill...tbh, I need to find a way to cure my boot smell too. maybe itll help to detract the jerries. Its my gravitational field.

Hand wash 'em with soap and water in your sink or a tub
People pond skim with boots... getting the liner fully wet isn't a problem, just make sure you completely dry them

I’ve heated molded liners with the rice in a sock method before and while it works it makes the stench worse. It ends up smelling like a Chinese child labor sweat shop making the newest Jordons.

Put one tide pod in there and continue using the boots as normal

You can wash your liners with soap and water. Maybe stay away from hot water and harsh detergents. Finish with a vinegar bath.

Put inside foot powder, Tide pod, rice, moth balls, vinegar and hand wash with soap and water and more vinegar.
Line dry for one week. With moth balls inside.

I never heard of anyone trying…
I recommend removing your liners and drying the out quick. Maybe odor out products might kill the bacteria/fongus growing in the liner. Google is good at that.

Get an old tube sock/ski sock, stuff it full of cedar woodchips, stuff em into the liner after you ride, liner into the boot for a while.

Liner out, cedar out, all back together and buckled.

most rental shops use an amonia based spray disinfectant (like febreze or microban). it will take care of the bacteria and fungi (smells), but it wont get the soil out and leaves a good amount of biological matter in there for things to grow in again.

i dont trust any washing method to not ruin the liners, i never even take my liners out. they just feel different any time i put them back in.

if im travelling on a plane with my boots out, i just put a bunch of dryer sheets in there.

fresh liners from intuiton only cost like $250, thats really the only way get rid of them smell. so you might as well try washing them in cold water.
