Fixing cracked edge

My edge got screwed after some rocks and in one spot it got pretty bad. I bought jb weld. when it comes how do i apply it correctly do i clamp the edge once im don’t applying it? thanks in advance

which jb weld did you get? also just for future you can get most of the kinds of jb weld at an auto parts store or hardware store.

i got a waterproof cold proof one that you have to mix

that'll work fine, check and see if clamping it a certain way lines the edge up any better even if it doesn't just clamp it for good measure

Cut the edge out to where it stops bending then seal it off and clamp the whole thing
