Anyone have experience with the marker squires?

He NS I was just wondering if any of you have any experience with the marker squires have been looking at the 11’s and they look pretty nice. I weigh roughly 100 pounds and ski mostly freeride and freeski type stuff. Thanks so much guys.

they will blow up if you land switch or do weird stuff, even if your 100lbs. get griffons at least.



I witnessed a kid landing hard and POoooooooop blown rear housing.



That said guu seems to use them for comps?!

I don’t ski switch (and let’s be honest I never will) but do you think it will be fine if I don’t ski switch?

for just skiiing around you should be fine



you said freeride and freeski, for me that involves some switch stuff ;)

A bit of a guideline with squires is don’t do anything that wouldn’t be taught in a lesson or you’ll blow them up

The current squires that look just like the free tens are supposed to have much improved durability. They were fully redesigned for this year, I mounted a pair for a friend's son the other week and they look pretty solid...he's 9yo or something so not much chance he's going to blow them up anyway.

Ight thanks for the feedback. I was kinda nervous the were going to like mess me up super bad so this helps a lot thanks.

What's the difference between griffon and jester? Is it just the magnesium thingy

I Think it might just be the DIN amount. I might be wrong though cause I have not looked.

Jester is more beefy and therefore weighs more.

jester has replaced pretty much all the composite parts with metall (magnesium) and its BEEFY/heavier. They ride/feel nice

You are about to gamble with those bindings. Personally I did not have any problems with mine for 4 seasons even tho I weighed almost 80kg (180lbs). But my brother bought same binding at the same time and literally on the first run did a 180 and blew one back piece and on the third run blew the other but dont remember how.

That said even that they worked for me I would not recommend them.

I wouldn’t buy them they definitely didn’t hold my boot to the ski very well. I would go with tyrolia attacks
