Should i center mount arv 86?

Kinda a wierd situation but basically last season i rode the armada arv 86 2020-2021 and loved em, i rode em recc i think thats -2.5 cm but over the summer I went to windells and won faction candide 1.0s (mounted reccomended) from corey jackson because i made a basketball shot lol. I recently snapped the rocker of the tail on my armadas, I called armada and they said itll prolly get warrantied.

If i get the skis warrantied and replaced, should I mount them dead center, they will be ridden 100% park on east coast conditions, and I have the factions for a stiffer ski, all mountain.

If im only riding park on them, is it worth it or will it throw off the ski too much? Reminder I have the all mountain ski.

I went dead center on my park skis but now im seeing a lot of pros and other park skiers prefer -1cm so maybe thats move

If you’re riding them only in the park go for either 1cm back or true center.

you wont notice a difference in the park unless you go further than like 2cm

Id go with whatever you’re used to or have skied on the most in the park, just cause some pros ride -1 or -2 doesn’t mean you should change yours, all preference. I will say though, 86s are great skis for buttering and super light, so I would suggest center if you’re indifferent.

edit - didn’t realize u said you rode them -2.5 for a whole season. Id probably stick w that tbh

I got my 2020 arv86s mounted at the "freestyle recommended" line which I think is like -1/-1.5 and I've been super happy with it for riding pure park.

I think freestyle is -2.5 I’ll probably go 1 cm back. Thanks for all the replies

Lol I've been mounting my skis dead center for years, tech said he "couldn't" dead center the arvs so I just rolled with it. I haven't noticed any difference in terms of rail balance or switch stability - i mean, we're literally only talking about an inch here. Center is more aesthetically pleasing for sure.

I personally j like center mount all of my skis since I was like 7. I think being in the middle works better for control and knowing where your tips and tails are
