sexyjulianImagine actually caring about what others do when they ski 🤡
SchizoSkierI ski copper and I always see girls usually in groups of 2-3 wearing the freshest gear like FT boots and have blends and goggles under the helmet and stuff but I’ve never seen them actually do a trick. They usually just ride down the park like a normal run and don’t even hit any of the features. They can normally be seen sitting at the top of Central Park doing nothing then riding down the side 10 minutes later. Just curious if this happens at any other mtns or just a copper thing.
FruitBootProWas at Beech Mtn yesterday and saw a few girls in the park actually sliding the tubes so props to them
BradFiAusNzCoCaWhat were you doing all the way down there?
Farmville420I ski at farmville420’s bedroom and I always see my mom usually in groups of my mom wearing the freshest gear like FT boots and have blends and goggles under the helmet and stuff but I’ve never seen her actually do a trick. FruitBootProOk to be completely honest I think it’s fine to wear/ride that stuff even if you’re not good, but seeing someone who’s regularly in the park never hit a feature is sus. Like, going in the park often but never trying any kind of trick, no matter how basic, no matter what you’re wearing, is wack.
Honestly it’s better if you just ski where you want instead of skiing in the park bc that’s what you’re “supposed” to do if you are wearing those clothes.

CaseyTime to get a life bro, literally no one should have the time or inclination to give a shit about this.
TreeJamHow can we encourage girls to hit features?
Christian_BaleHow can we encourage people not to make stupid threads like this one
MoneyMakerMikeMy gf can hit a rail /claim

yungspliffyWtf are you talking about, style is a major component of skiing. Are you really going to pretend like you’re completely oblivious to it?
SchizoSkierWould you ever consider dating me
The.FishI don't mind posers until they start lying about their bag of tricks. If you tell me that you learned to 2p2 at Mt Hood and can't even do a front 2 without struggling, I am going to have a hard time taking you seriously.
SendyMcSendyfaceBeing a poser ain't exclusive to girls bud.
yungspliffyI prefer to just shoot everyone I see with my glock 19 as I ride through the park, regardless of gender or assumed status
bogustPosers don’t really bother me, they get hyped when you through down, film when you ask and are excited to talk about ski gear.
-DanLet em spend money on things where some of their dollars might literally put gas in the line TC van. Idc if they stand at the top all day and never drop in if Andy Parry gets to drive a couple miles and feed us pizza because of it.
aside from that, parks can be really intimidating for many reasons. Unfamiliar features, just trying to get started and learn, random asshole judging you because you got boots you like, and so many other things that add up.
Instead of making a thread on NS complaining about someone literally skiing, just say what up to them and wish them a nice day. Maybe they’ll feel a lil less intimidated because of it and you can watch em slip out on a flat box instead of just skiing around it. Then encourage em to give it another shot! Shit is a win win for the whole community.
