johnobleWent nordic skiing with a friend once, asked him what he had wax he was using for the conditions. "oh, just my park wax".
Bkripreal men use candle wax and crayons
Chrischi69I never wax my skis its like juicing in baseball im all natty
ReturnToMonkeyBaseball players regularly oil their leather gloves
jompcockTook a friends advice for a jump at snowmass and he told me to go dead straight from the jump before, then I overshot the fuck out of it... Later learned that was his third season on those skis and he hadn't waxed them even once.
Idk I just pick up a 180g brick of swix red every 1.5 seasons. Sometimes I'll use this graphite stuff called swix speed granulate if it's gonna be cold but they don't make it anymore so I've been rationing it. Someone lmk if there's anyone still making wax coated graphite pellets.

nathanlaylandWintersieger and wend both make a graphite wax
jompcockno I mean the graphite pellets that you sprinkle on over the wax while it's still hot on the ski. I do have some graphite wax but prefer the pellets.
TreeJamI just waxed my skis with some stuff I found in my garage, anyways it smelled like bubble gum and I hope it’s not skate wax
