What helmet should I get

I'm 17, and my skiing is really starting to hit that next level. I've got an old Bolle that I've been using for a while, but I've decided that if I value my ability to think I should probs look at getting something new. Im thinking about getting the anon windham wavecell, but Im not sure if I should get something with mips instead. For context I'm not super great in the park, but Ive been dropping big features at the local hill. Also kinda like that simpler rounded design. Any help is appreciated

I have a smith maze and I like it, you can also get them with mips. I just hit my head the other day and I’m considering getting a Giro with mips because I want the extra protection. People also say it’s important to go try on helmets to see what fits good because that’s pretty important

+ 1 for giro products, I have the Jackson MIPS and its still a solid helmet after lots of use in the last 2 seasons. I would recommend making a habit of replacing helmets after a ton of use but I'm impressed with mine so far.

Wear a beanie it’s just as safe as helmet if not more. Maybe a thick hat could work too, like corduroy type material

paintball mask

genuinely saw an 11 year old kid wearing a paintball mask, jeans, and a long sleeve striped shirt on rentals last weekend. He proceeded to snowplow down the run at an impressive speed while screeching incoherent pre-pubescent noises. He knows no fear

get one with a boa on it so that as you cut and grow your hair your helmet will always fit snug as a bug in a rug 🐸

All I can say is go for protection over how it looks. MIPS helmets are also great.

Been rocking the Smith Code MIPS for the past two to three seasons and all I have to say is that spending the extra money on a MIPS helmet is well worth it.
