freestyler540Coming up short on a frontflip is really painful. My first one, I landed on my ass, tails in the snow and the ski continued forward. That tork on the shins cause a week long shin bang. Its been almost 20 years and I still remember that pain.
Frontflips are sick, but only when stomped. Or else you look like a gaper when you crash. High risk, high pay off trick
honeynutgoonfirst time i tried a front was off a cat track. sent way too big but didn't flip fast enough and ended up breaking both my skis at the heel piece and genuinely thought i may have broken my tibia lol
ReturnToMonkeyLooks to me like you set just a little too late. Your set looks good, just slightly late which makes it so you don't pop as hard. That pop is crucial to getting around to a solid landing. Try a bigger jump next time! I hate small fronties but big slower ones are super fun
bennwithtwonsI've been confused for 2 decades as to why people claim landing back seat gives them sore shins (instead of sore calves, for example).
Now I know.
spencer.jordanntake Advil or Tylenol, it helps a lot
