Hi all,
I purchased some skis for my gf, Volkl Yumi 80. They were mounted with Warden 11s.
The toe-piece of the Warden 11 is almost as wide as the ski, but there is a small gap on each side. The binding is approximately 0,75 mm off center. While this is not a lot, it just becomes very visible when there is 5 mm of visible top sheet on one side of the toe-piece and 3,5 mm on the other. This bugs my eyes.
The binding is equally off center all the way through, why I am likely to say that this is OK and within expected tolerance. But am I right? Or should they be dead center?
I never mounted bindings myself but am familiar with the process. Curious to hear your thoughts.
Although it bugs me, I am not sure she will be able to feel it at all.
