so I caught an edge when I was trying to spin off a jump and the edge of my right ski like sliced a part of my left ski towards the back. not a huge deal, really more of a cosmetic thing than anything, but there's a little chunk just hanging there and I can see the wood underneath and it's lowkey bothering the hell outa me. i thought about just putting some superglue and clamping it but I wanted to ask to see if other types of adhesives work better? like wood glue or something

If you can see wood it is a big deal.
Can you post a picture?
You'll almost certainly want to procure yourself some West System G Flex epoxy for the repair. Whether you need to clamp or simply remove the excess after curing depends on the damage.

i’ll post a picture of it in the morning. thanks for the insight though. i was a little worried that the wood might rot or something if i don’t get it patched up, is that what makes it a bigger deal than i thought?

That's not much to worry about, even though you can see the core there is still loads of epoxy until it get's down to bare wood.
If you want it filled which is totally understandable bring it to ski shop and they can do it no problem. If you are gonna do it yourself I would recommend JB weld and permatex, also be patient with it don't take the clamps off to early.
