Don't know if any Colorado peeps on here knew Rory, but he was a real one. Drank fireball with him on a lift at Winter Park last season, just talked about our boots and shit. Then I saw this early this week. Fucked. Started while he was in bounds at Northstar, looks like he got lost in a whiteout storm. Thinking of his sister who searched the resort area for days looking for him. She said he was found with his skis laid in front of him and his hands over his heart. Shit can happen anytime, anywhere in the mountains. Don't take it for granted.
