in all seriousness i have no experience with custom boots except my buddy had to get some and they were like $1600, and in that case i feel bad for people like you with feet that need that, stupid expensive just to get a pair of ski boots that fit

sorry to disagree but some people (me for example) really do need a bootfitting. My left foot is two sizes smaller than my right one.. back in the days when I was on rental equipment I always had two different skiboots, sometimes even in different colours :D (real Jerry! ;D )
If I wouldnt get a bootfit either my right foot would be dead after the first day or I would no control in my left foot.. and blisters on touring days... just imagine.. it is disgusting.

So yes, I prefer spending 600-700€ on one fitted pair instead of buying two pair of boots, not being 100% fitted and costing me 800-900€ (at least). ;)

does anybody have experiences with the customized boots from Aqua Novo boots, especially the model Reggae?
I need a pair of customized boots for sure because I have complicated feet so just fitting the boot probably will not work.
So far I was riding in a customized boot from strolz, expensive but I am really happy with the boot and it holds now for ~6 seasons with two seasons working as instructor and they are still totally fine! But strolz have no Touring boots :/

Aqua Novo and Strolz are doing nothing that specialist boot-fitter can't already do. Heat molding shells, making foam liners, creating footbeds is what professional boot-fitters do on a daily basis. If you are near Munich, call up Black Sheep Sports and make an appointment. But, at this time of the year, don't expect to find many options.

Sorry if i came off wrong in my first post, i was just bullshitting when i said “get full tilts” as that’s usually the ns answer to all bootfitting. I totally understand needing bootfitting especially with feet that are different sizes. Curious, when you get a pair that’s custom made for your different size feet do they use the same upper cuff and 2 buckles and just different sizes for the lower half of the boot?

I just talked to a guy from a shop and he said I should get a foamed boot again because fitting wont be enough...
