Foggy goggles all the time

how do i stop my goggles from fogging? i have some squad xl’s that were regular fit and they always fogged, then i recently got mags as a gift and they’re asian fit but they still fog. they fog towards the top like in between my eyebrows if that helps at all to figure out what’s going on. does my helmet not ventilate enough or something? i have an oakley mod5.

i end up keeping them on my head for the rest of the day after getting tired of them fogging up after the first 10 minutes but i see everybody else riding perfectly fine with their goggles on

There’s anti fog wipes u can get that work well. A lot of it has to do with ur body heat and/or some kinda crack in the seal. Try to get them to seal to ur face without putting anything up under the nose part.

Regulate your body heat. If your toasty standing in line or on the lift, then you are over dressed.

are you putting them on your head just once you've given up on them or regularly? it sucks but putting them up on your forehead is a great way to fog them up

Are you letting them dry out all the way or leaving them in a car or skibag or anything?

any specific recommendations for which wipes to get? i also overheard somebody ask their friend for anti fog spray the other day, is that a good option?

Welcome to the club 😔😔. I’ve had exactly this my entire life and no one I talk to seems to get the same problem. I’m gonna go ahead and diagnose you with Acute Sweaty Eyebrow Syndrome. Next time this happens take off the gogs for a second and feel your forehead/brow area and i guarantee your hand will come off wet.

If I’m right about that, the only remedy is Botox of the forehead or to start wearing glasses style eye protection like Smith Ruckus or Ryders glasses.

Taking your goggles out and drying your lenses is huge. Smith has pretty good anti fog but it’s hard to keep a wet lense from
fogging

Dry them out fully every time you ski. Pull the lens off and lay everything out somewhere warm so you dont have any moisture in there. Also have an extra lens handy just in case you take a spill and get snow inside them

i take them out at home and let them air dry before my next trip but that’s about it

Any of the wipes that come in the lil packets usually do the trick. Also goggles on forehead is bad for fog too.

You should also store the lenses in the microfiber bag and the housing separately, It’ll air out and never get scratched. That’s pretty much all my goggle tips lol

i probably have on my squads at this point even though I knew I shouldn't have. I've been using tissue paper to just dab at the lens when they get too foggy, I'm not sure if that's doing anything to the antifog.

Yeah you never wipe inside the lense, that's your problem. I'll only over touch the inside to gently brush away dust if it's bone dry.
