Does anyone know if the Tyrolia Attack 13² is compatible with my Walk To Ride boot sole. Seems they fit GripWalk but maybe not WTR. Finding it hard to get a clear answer online.
Thanks in advance

TwigSimple answer is no, at least the aren't designed to. There's a multi-norm version of the Attack 14 that does accommodate WTR but the 13s are only certified alpine norm and gripwalk.
MJCquinThanks, I thought that might be the case. Any insight on what "not compatible" actually means... I have had my boots since 2017 and only today became aware of the specific nature of the sole and that's it's "not compatible" with seemingly most bindings. I have skied in them on 5+ different sets of skis/bindings, none of which were likely to be WTR compatible, and not had any problems that I'm aware of in terms of clipping and staying in.
Just trying to gauge how much of an issue this actually is and if it needs fixing i.e. new bindings, new boots or new boot soles.
TwigI've only tried with a couple pairs, but every time I've tried to put a WTR in an Attack it has been impossible to adjust the AFD height correctly. They will click in no problem but the AFD will be too tight to the boot for the binding to function properly. AKA you will stay in, but in some situations, they might not release properly. Personally, I would fix this and the answer is likely new boots/boot soles.
MJCquinThanks, this is really helpful. I am swapping the Attacks for Griffions, which by all account are WTR compatible. Might also look into changing my boot sole if it's not too tricky
