Lost my true wireless earbuds for what feels like the millionth time. Probably gonna need to buy new ones. Should I buy a Skullcandy Icon (pictured below) for the steeze on the mountain and skatepark, and then get some more low profile buds for the streets?
Keep in mind that I can't wear a helmet with the Icons, so idk if I'm rocking with that on the mountain...
idk about wireless, I used to have the wired icon, so tight I'd wear them over the goggle strap and they would never fall off unless I ate shit, but even then they're wired anyway so no problem. Then they died and I got the wireless ones, so I had to wear them under the goggle strap to avoid losing them, and it's just not as comfortable imo.
I wear a helmet all the time nowadays anyway, but if I had to go back I'd get wired icon for sure.
been using skull candy inkd+ active and they're great. have very good battery life, the neck thing allows you to hang your earbuds down, and they're bluetooth but wired to the neck holder thang. they're like $40 or something but highly recommend
Everyone used to rock icons under helmets. Well more behind but look it up. Honestly the best headphones on the mountain are the stock apple wired headphones. Button is big enough to pause and play with mittens on they aren’t super big and easily fit under a balaclava.

That shit was so dumb, they do not fit properly like that and would instantly break after a fall

Jemsriding with headphones is cool i wish more people brought it back
forreal I'm bout to, we need the 90s and 00s style back, literally bought these Icons for the aesthetic. Normal athletic earbuds woulda worked...but I gotta make a fashion statement

I still rock my Giro Tuneups from 2007 and they are the shit. I agree, we got to bring the culture and styles back from the '00s. My wife is really good at crochet and Im still toying with the idea of seeing if anyone here wants to buy some hats. She has made me some sweet hats over the years and its fun to roll to Hobby Lobby and pick out colors etc.

Haha like the rasta hats? Those would be cool ngl
we could use another clothing/lifestyle brand to fill the gap Saga has left. There was so much cool skiwear shit back then
even from companies like Salomon and Atomic. Now even Armada is transitioning into much subtler, more refined apparel designs (no hate tho). I have a Word Of Mouth jacket by Saga that my cousin gave me, and there's really nothing like it on the market anymore. Even the indie companies don't quite scratch that itch.
