Second day out in the snow pants, ate it on a tube and the pocket ripped wide open (inside). Quality is asscheeks, and their customer service told me “it’s sad that the pants have broken, but we can’t do anything about it.” The fit is cool, but spend your money on something that actually has good quality. Saga would never…..

My saga pants destroyed themselves pretty quick tbh. *barely* got a season out of them and they leaked like a sieve after like day 5

Honestly falling on rails is probably the fastest way to tear your stuff up. You are sliding a soft fabric across a metal surface with all your weight on it. Anything light weight and thin will get destroyed, no matter the brand. Every pants I have ever owned got all scuffed up after a few days. that being said some pants last much longer than others. I haven't personally owned pants Harlaut but my friends are holding up decently. Bummer your stuff fell apart but I would just try to sew it back together if possible. If the tear is on the inside nobody will notice to just do a little patch work and it will be good enough. Haven't seen pictures so don't know if that will work. Good luck though!

I love my pair because they are so fucking compfy and the fit is killer!!! However they are insanely thin and light feeling which is cool but I would not wear them in like below 10 degree weather or probably even pow. Good thing I like in 60 degree Ohio and have some old beat up back up pants for that one cold ass week per
year

a buddy of mine fell. (not even on a rail) and his pants ripped aswell. could be bad luck also could be the fact that the fabric is not as thick as traditional outerwear... the fit goes hard either way though.

I haven’t had any problems with mine yet, still mint after like 10+ Days and I’ve fallen a lot. I think maybe you just had bad luck honestly

10 days really isn’t anything though. If I had any gear whatso ever break after 10 days I would be impressed on how bad of quality it is..

I have fallen on a rail and ripped my pants, I did not blame the pants for ripping on metal I blamed myself for falling on the rail thus causing them to rip.

Same thing happened to me. Fell in the snow trying to spin switch lip onto a tube. Did not hit the tube or any sharp edges. My Shit Kid pants ripped at a very strange spot in the upper thigh area. The pants are poor quality! Probably made in some chinese sweatshops. Both of the zippered side pockets are insanely small. The fit goes hard tho. I fixed my pants using a stick on nylon patch used to repair tents and jackets and still like to wear it for the fit. Fixing it wasnt too hard either but i was kinda sad the pants ripped on my first day out especially for the price they sell them for.

I mean they are a relatively new company. They are small and do not have the means to spend money on repairs. They also are learning and developing as they go. Im sure your feedback will help them grow as a company and point out design flaws for them to improve upon. A thread putting them on blast for you falling is pretty weak. In conclusion, OP is a lil bitch.

Been skiing 2 seasons with the same original harlaut apparel cargos (before their quality upgrade) and haven't had any problems. I've got them stuck on rails and everything but no rips so far

True, but the best thing a small brand can do while growing is offer large support for their products. This is just based on what I've seen from other small brands throughout the years in the shop. They're coming off a bit lazy in their replies/support from what I'm seeing above, not that everyone is necessarily entitled to replacements but they could still show a little more enthusiasm and willingness to help. Creating a helpful image even while not being able to help can be a huge positive impact for a consumer.

Well 8 more days than you got out of yours it was the point. Will I make it to a few hundred? Idk but I was just saying like I’ve eaten shit on rails for 10+ days and no rips, which is why I believe you are a bit unlucky

I was skeptical as well but its holding up fine so far. I used the patches below. They apply like stickers and you can make them stick even better by heating the fabric with a hair dryer or by ironing over the patch (I used the hair dryer method, as i was concerned about the Polyester melting from ironing)

I share @.nasty s opinion regarding customer service and their answers.
