Bogus has been getting dumped this year too. Just fly into Boise and hang out there for a bit, you'll have a worthwhile trip.

Most resorts are fully open but bit of a dry pattern coming up so could he crunchy. Bogus has really cheap day tix especially if you have a friend with a season pass. Boise is fun and bogus has surprisingly good terrain.

You aren't kidding about the dry pattern, might as well just choose the cheapest and coldest.

Pebble creek looks like it has enough snow, looked at their webcam and the idaho 511 traffic cams. They didn't have a park last time I was there, but there are some suspicious looking mounds showing on the webcam. Its a fun hill.

Southern Idaho is peppered with small hills like this one, a tour could be fun.

You could try kelly canyon, it's a mama pap resort that has been making a lot of changes recently. The only problem is that it can be icy and it's small(around 600 acres). Half days are 45$ I think? It's a really beginner friendly hill but if your budgeting this might be a good choice

Targhee is also amazing, but I agree I wouldn't drop a hundred on a ticket.(maybe I would if they got dumped on)

I have also heard great things about pomerelle from my friends, but I haven't personally went there yet.

Yeah it's like $100/night for a hotel and $50 each for lift tickets. The price of like 1 lift ticket at Targhee.

Definitely enough terrain there to see in a day.

pomerelle, snow king, pebble creek all going off rn. Lost trail is probs the best of you are willing to drive far. Bogus/tam/brundage are all ice sheets

HypeBeastPlans with friends for VT fell through for next weekend so might visit a buddy out in Idaho instead. We were planning on just hitting up Targhee for a couple days but didn't realize it was a holiday and their prices have certainly gone up too over the years; he's not too keen on shelling out $125/day for a ticket as a poor college student and I don't blame him. Anyone work there lol?

I looked at pebble creek but their snow report is kinda useless so if anyone has info on how it is there currently, that would be awesome too cuz their tickets aren't bad.

Any suggestions are welcome. Otherwise I'm probably just gonna solo my way around VT.

I was up at kelly canyon on sunday, and its not bad, its a tiny mountain with a park that a upside down boat, short box, short tube, and a short flat rail, but its still fun to go find side hits and get creative.

Maverick Mountain is also in the area. That one fucking rips

Where is your buddy at in Idaho? That may have a determining factor on where you go. If you are flying into the area you will most likely end up in SLC. Maybe have your buddy meet you there. As for Idaho, Im not there at the moment but have been in contact with close friends at most resorts in the eastern part of the state. Pebble is going off, has been better but it is finally skiable. They dont have much of a park but have excellent terrain. You may have to hunt for it but it is there. Kelly Canyon is going off right now, I have a few patroller friends that work there, if you want some tickets I could possibly hook you up. Its just a small double chair hill but has the best night skiing in the area and always has a decent park if the snow is good. Pomerelle is a great little mountain. Highest elevation for a ski hill in Idaho, they always seem to get decent snow every year. Sun Valley is going off this season but tickets are as much as Targhee. I spoke to a buddy over the weekend and he said Targhee is good, temps warmed up and made it bit icy but should be receiving more snow soon. Jackson is good too, just a bit pricey. As stated above, Bogus is good too. Again just depends on where your buddy is at to allow for travels. Hope this helps and you get a chance to ski Idaho!

Thanks! He lives in twin but has friends in boise and Idaho falls we can crash with. I'm flying direct to boise so pretty much limited to this state and places we can stay at within 2hrs of skiing.
