Did DC ever hate on skiers or produce anti-skier propaganda?
One of my blade friends said that DC made media back in the day that clowned bladers, and I heard that like a year ago one of their sponsored skaters made some statement about how scooters suck and that scooter riders should skateboard instead. Considering that DC also makes snowboard boots, have they ever make content clowning freeskiers or skiers in general?
FruitBootProIt doesn't exist now but I've heard back in the 2000s, boarders were not happy that skiers were starting to come in "their" "snowboard parks"
But nowadays everyone is so exhausted from Internet arguments that nobody has the time or energy to beef with people in the terrain park/skatepark IRL

Yeah no not actually beefing just bustin each other’s balls. I remember Erik Ronner having a few funny digs at snowboarders in his old YT vids… I miss that dude fr

The only time I clown on my snowboarding friends is when they walk out on the backcountry traverse. It’s stupid and they shouldn’t do it. A snowboard is not a backcountry access tool unless it’s split.

DC, Salt Life, Tap Out.. if they made anti-skiing stuff, I'm sure they all these stickers on the back of their cars, so I don't care at all what they think LOL
People who ski with boarders will most likely try to ski imitate “snowboard tricks” like butters and presses rather than swaps and double corks. Edollo and casabon for example have imitated boarders like Magoon for years, way cooler imo

That's cool ig...to me it matters most if the trick has steeze, nothing else really. although I do wish that skiers focused more on presses etc. when it comes to rail tricks
I remember being a kid and skiers weren’t allowed in the terrain park at Sugar Mountain, NC. Only snowboarders

It would have been a dumb business decision for DC to go to war with the skiing establishment, like biting the hand that feeds them. Blading was tryna take their lunch money. It was never about anything but $$$
I think Bachelor was that way for a while too in the 90s. I have a childhood memory of poaching the snowboard park and being super scared about getting in trouble.
I am sure some management board was like, if we give the coloreds their own section they might all stay in there away from the paying customers

Could have been, but back then, I stayed away from the terrain parks! Those kids were totally nuts! ;-)
