Frostnip?

I was snowboarding a few days ago and I am not sure if my hand has frostnip. The affected area is a bit red and coarse. It is not aching and I still have the sensation. If this is indeed frostnip, should I go see a doctor? And do I need to stop snowboarding for certain period of time?

Frostnip doesn't have lingering effects after it's warmed. You probably got mild frostbite. Could easily go see your family doc if it's bothering you and since it's not possible to fully evaluate the extent of your injuries via the internet lol. Best to avoid the cold til your skin is back to normal again.

same thing happened to my toes cause I was running low volume inserts(they take up more room idk its fucked) and cut off circulation. still cant feel front of big toe like 2 weeks later. just run it under luke warm water tho then get hotter and hotter.

Dude that doesn’t look normal, go see your doctor. If it doesn’t feel good, avoid snowboarding until it feels better. And buy warmer gloves

True, it's sad.
Someone came to a community of skiers to ask about (his, her) hand because many of us should know what's up.
Lots of new folks showing up, but when they get basted for a simple question etc. IDK how long they will hang out.
So many mean youngsters. IDK, but chances are they are abused kids, so I feel sorry for them.

First degree frostbite is no biggie, aloe can help with dryness, keep it warm and dont go skiing until the skin looks healthy. Dont rub it.

if you get blisters or the skin looks darker blue/black you need to see the doc, but it wouldnt hurt to go regardless

I had the same shit on my ears. If its not like totally numb or werid colors just leave it and itll be fine. My ears got really dry and shit but it just kinda went away and its fine. Just keep them warm
