Replying to Bent Brake
So I'm pretty new to skiing park (I have been for about a year and a half) and I landed switch off a relatively big jump but I think my bindings were too loose (I'd adjusted them recently) and my skis came up. I ended up bending the brake on one of them pretty far forward to the point I was unable to use it. Some guy helped me bend them back in place but he said the metal is like a paper clip where the more you bend it the weaker it gets and he suggested a get an extra pair of brakes in case (or when) they fully break. Is this something I should do and am I good to ski on them for now? They seemed fine for the rest of the day but I wasn't hitting anything major. Thanks for any help and apologies if this is an obvious question.
