Trying to save a penny and eat cheap. Heard rice and beans are where its at. There's just so many kinds and having trouble finding a place to start.
How do you cook them?
What beans do you use?
What kind of seasoning?

SavageBiffBeans and rice = ton of carbs and a lot of lectins gonna inflame your intestines, plus your likely to add sugars one way or another for flavor, you need animal protein or at least some eggs are cheap.

You can omit like half of the ingredient list and still produce a good result or substitute whatever you have around. Also look up quick soaking beans...basically boil them for 2 minutes and let them soak for an hour instead of overnight.
SkibumsmithI do this everyday for breakfast...
rice: add cumin, chili powder, paprika, garlic salt
black beans
ground turkey sausage
Mix the rice, beans and sausage. Throw a couple fried eggs on top. Can also add cilantro, avocado, pico, cheese, etc...
