What epoxy to fix delamination?

I know I could go to the hardware store and get any 2 part clear epoxy but I was wondering if ski techs out there had a product that they preferred - something that wasn’t brittle when cured etc.

From what I understand the longer the cure time the more flexible it will be when dry. So avoid fast cure. I just used regular marine epoxy from Home Depot to seal a gash in my top sheet/sidewall. But that is a little different probably worth getting some expert opinions first.

ive never had much luck from any epoxy. they will open up again eventually.

adhesive + rivets or old fashined screw, nuts and washers work best in that scenario imo

Thats the thing with ski repair. If you keep using them, you'll have to heavily increase your maintainence. If you are fine with that, you can make skis last forever.

Spiked t nuts like is used in some ski boot hardware is your friend. Use alongside epoxy to keep water out and prevent bolt from unthreading.

as long as its delam anyways...

i dont think you can replace signifacnt amounts of edges or cores for that matter

I used e600 marine glue and clamped for a couple days on my byard skis and that worked fine

West systems G-flex just go to any marine store. also probably need some clamps
