Vishnu rusting after one day

I have ridden my new wets for one day and the edges already show rust even after drying them and bringing them inside after skiing. Wondering if this has happened to any one else / any ways to fix. Never seen so much rust even on skis that are multiple season old and have been left outside. Pretty bummed after one day and have seen other issues with Vishnus edges this year that make me wonder.

bro is freaking out about rust smh. Ive seen so many of these "my vishnus are not literally god tier skis" threads. Its a park ski made in china, and yes i agree seeing the first sign of damage is disheartining but rust is not something to worry about or bash vishnu.

looks like it’s already spread into the base and core you’re probably gonna want to get rid of those ill give you $100 for them but they’re probably toast

No way you dried those, or you live in a swamp.
The base edges are very uneven. (bad machine tune).
If you file and stone the base edges (I'll assume side edges too) to a smooth polish, your drying will be more effective.
It's like this. They are pitted, and the pits are not drying.
You need to dry well in a dry place. Don't even leave them in a ski box overnight.

I heard they're coming out with a ski called the dry next year which will totally solve this problem.

Seriously though not a big deal those will clean right up with a quick tune.

Go down to your local ski shop and buy a gummy stone. Will clean up real quick and easy.

Completely normal. The rust will ski off after a few runs or you can wipe it off. Probably just some salt got on them somehow.
