Just noticed my tongue liner stretchy thing is MIA. Can I use duct tape as a substitute?

Duct tape isn't elasticity so it won't stretch and it'll probably pull away if you stress it to hard but it will probably work for a fabric filler.

As someone who has done and seen a lot of DIY finagling with rollerblade liners, this should really not be a huge issue. If you ski them like this and DO notice a difference, just go to your bootfitter and ask them

Thanks guys. Yeah I have been skiing on them, haven’t noticed a huge difference apart from the tongue beginning to rip at the base and when I try to put the liner in the boot the tongue will squeeze out of the boot. I’ll just leave it alone

Where I come from, we have shops that will fix that type of stuff, maybe better than new.
That said, it looks like your foot may get a bit wetter if the snow is wet, but no major issue.
