Npc's hitting sticky rail glitch

I saw this on that npc thread a couple weeks ago, and its totally true. I was skiing at sunday river this week and these kids are doing triple swaps on some sticky tube that I can barely slide normally and i even have a super detuned edge. How are these kids learning these tech tricks on unslidable tubes? anyone have similar experiences lol?

Your "detune", and having an edge high ski are two different things.
Your bases may be concave, and that make edge high even worse!
And believe it or not, when you slide them skis, wax helps.

Well the kid you saw doing triple swaps is Gavin and he's one of the academy kids. He's really fucking good at rails. I have no idea how he manages it, it's probably just that he can ski so often and practices a lot.

Yeaah pretty much, my question is like how long is the rail? how shallow is the run-in, there's a lot of factors.
Usually I can manage at least 2 swaps on a rail depending on how slow I'm comin in. My max is like 6 or 7, although it looks fucking stupid and takes maybe 100 runs, I'de rather cook in, do a simple swap to 2 or 4 out and bang the shit out of the landing cause its funner. And I wouldn't consider myself to be a good park skier so, I don't think its a glitch.

backsurface front surface backsurface frontsurface backsurface frontsurface back swap. kinda sus trick but whatever, Its like really easy and low consequence I mean, set the spin and hope you stick to the rail, 90% of the time fall off on the second time around. I try not to surface dub swap too much anymore because it's addicting and prohibits me from learning more techy rail shit, cause you just wanna keep spinnin man feels so good.
I could probably try and catch a clip, idk tho nobody seems to wanna ski this year. Just gapers out there, low vibes this year bruh.
