K2 Mindbender 116C Mount Point

I’m looking for advice on the mount point for the K2 Mindbender 116C. I currently have it at the recommended line, but it’s so far back that sometimes I feel like my skis are going to cross and im going to front flip and crash. I want to get it mounted a bit forward. I’ve read +2 is good, but wanted to see if anyone has any opinions. This will be a powder ski, I don’t ski switch.

If you feel like the tips are going to cross you need to be more confident making parellel turns, size down or buy the reckoner. I can't think of much reason to forward mount a directional pow ski unless you're really trying to make it something it's not

I find the mount point way too far back on the MB 116 too. Most of us ride them at least 2cm forward of the mount point but I have ridden them up to 8cm in front.

Why is that? Do you feel the tails are too soft?

No just the mount point is a little too far back for how most of us like to ski. I have a set of the proto 116's i'm riding at the moment and the mount point has been moved forward as standard on this current configuration.

Back when they were the Seth’s he skied them at +2. I have mine at +2 but would probably consider +3 or even +4 just because of how I ski and what I am used to.

Wayy different than seths.

But I'd go 3.5 up from recommended in current iteration.

I meant the annex/pinnacle they aren’t that different at all

If you are looking to do what these were intended for it feels great. If you want to make them feel more playful you could even go a little further forward but you will begin to lose some stability.
