I could be completely wrong but I interpreted that as “if you’re getting a vishnu sponsorship don’t post your broken skis online” which I can understand. I could be completely wrong though on what he meant

I think his philosophy is that there is no point asking anybody else but him about these things. He knows the most about these skis and will be able to help you better than anybody else here. Sometimes posting stuff like this could deter people from supporting a small ski company whos consumer base largely exists on newschoolers. I'm sure he just wants to make sure people think that he is actually shipping quality skis (which he is).

If you make skis, you’re going to receive public attention for things that happen with said skis…. That’s one way that brands create a better product, public attention and pressure to grow. It also sounds like anyone who sees the thread will also understand, based on comments, that Emmet is super responsive and cares a lot about his product and the people who ride it. I definitely didn’t interpret this as harshing on Vishnu. And it also doesn’t devalue the skis in my mind. It’s also totally reasonable to post about a problem you’re having with your skis on Newschoolers.

I think it depends on whether its a chronic issue or not. Would be a shame to discourage some people from buying a dope product if it's just one defective pair of skis. Personally ive ridden a few paris of Vs over the years and have never had this issue. I understand where OP is coming from, I just think posting your issue online in front of large audience should be more of a last resort, in general
