My 8th day on the wets and i know topsheet doesn’t matter but the some pretty big chunks are coming off.

rudolphDont ski with your feet together or don't bitch about topsheet chipping from park skiing. Hitting steel on steel can cause damage, that just part of the game. If you want pristine skis, i hear ski racers are looking for new people...
hi_vis360super weird I haven't seen that before
bananaman123431the thing is i’m a shitty park skier too, like i don’t beat my skis up
hi_vis360how deep is that chip? I've literally never seen anything like that
MaimHelpContact Emmett (the Vishnu Instagram) before posting shit, get it straightened out, he will do you good
bananaman123431definitely not trying to talk bad about these skis. they are so much fun to ride
MaimHelpThen don’t post a thread on them before you know it’s not a blemished pair
theres a podcast where Emmett speaks about it and said to talk to him before you post something
BradFiAusNzCoCaI’ve only had this on other skis when I didn’t detune tips and tails and took so gnarly slams where my skis landed on top of each other while I landed on my side
bananaman123431the thing is it’s all detuned like my edges are round everywhere
DesertStixDid you DM him on IG or NS? He’s usually pretty responsive on the gram and if it’s a blem, he wants to know about it before blasting them online lol
hoodratz47Blasting? Don't make something if you don't want criticism. I found that part of his Interview strange when he said " don't post pics of broken skis"..
DesertStixI could be completely wrong but I interpreted that as “if you’re getting a vishnu sponsorship don’t post your broken skis online” which I can understand. I could be completely wrong though on what he meant
AceofSpades3If you make skis, you’re going to receive public attention for things that happen with said skis…. That’s one way that brands create a better product, public attention and pressure to grow. It also sounds like anyone who sees the thread will also understand, based on comments, that Emmet is super responsive and cares a lot about his product and the people who ride it. I definitely didn’t interpret this as harshing on Vishnu. And it also doesn’t devalue the skis in my mind. It’s also totally reasonable to post about a problem you’re having with your skis on Newschoolers.
Young_pattyYum! Hope you saved those top sheet pieces OP
bananaman123431update: it’s getting worse
hoodratz47Pics?
bananaman123431just all coming off but im getting a new ski so it’s all good
bananaman123431just all coming off but i’m getting a new ski so it’s all good
DeadBis the top sheet of these new skis not a course material? like sandpaper? These look smooth to me.
bananaman123431they are like sandpaper. emmet said he didn’t change the material
