Biffbarflays trenches like it's dubya dubya one
teabagIf you really want something playful the Line SFBs are also a good option. I have them and they’re great for carving at medium speeds and obviously perfect for all kinds of side hits and swerving
SimkiwinkiTry Slalom race skis! You have to have pretty good technique but if you’re a good skier they are really really fun and it will really help improve your skiing. You can also find them for pretty cheap if you look for some that are a few season old
Piss_BoyMore looking for an all mountain ski then a race ski but maybe I'll borrow a pair to try
Kbob94Armada stranger!!! That ski carves like a frontside ski but rips and surfs too. I’d put it along side the sakana or blade but with a more surf and playful side!
Piss_BoySounds pretty close to what I'm looking for
Stranger or sfb seem like good choices for me
Kbob94It’s one of the most unique skis on the market right now imo. If u want and more fun freestyle feel mount it forward or the recommended line. Also peep Mike hornbecks video dance with a stranger to get a good feel for how the skis are
DrZoidbergI love my SFBs. They lean over quickly given their size and carve pretty well. I'm pretty short and light and I can easily overpower my 178s, with my reference being my Volkl Racetiger SLs which have more or less infinite grip and almost never fold. But they're basically like big park skis, super compliant and easy to manage. They feel light in the air for their size. The only catch is there's a lot of ski behind you.
I've been looking at the Seasons too. I think they're basically slightly stiffer SFBs, but otherwise a similar geometry with a pretty tight radius, which isn't surprising given it's Pollard's company.
Piss_BoyAre they very soft

r00kieMike ought to be getting a commission on sales of these. He is the reason they look fun to ride.
Kbob94Oh for sure! Also Kim boberg and Maude have been on them a bunch. I talked to him about them and he said he agreed with mike on the mounting point of 2.5in in front of recommended

TwigIf you want a ski that carves ridiculously short turns and will still break loose and feel poppy/buttery, the answer is the Season Kin. For a slightly longer radius, Armada Stranger is a great option.
mrk127You think the Kin turns noticeably tighter?
