Also live in a state with very generous firearm laws, but a lot of our crime is also with illegally obtained firearms so don't pull that "there's too many guns card". 100% mental health but the question is why is Denver so popular for someone going around shooting randoms with guns? I know they're in the suicide belt but you don't see this shit happening in the other neighboring states at this prevalence.

LonelyNon related but I just want to mention that my walmart barely raised their minimum, replaced all the check-out lanes with self-checkouts, and still got markedly more expensive.
Everyone told me that raising the minimum would make my groceries uber expensive. They didn't raise it to 15$ and dropped employees....and my groceries got super expensive anyways.
Also people are fucking braindead and it is always way more congested because they can't figure out how to check themselves out efficiently

Biffbarf@WoFIowz you know a lot more about this stuff than I do for sure, but I understand you can still get covid while vaxxed, the idea is you get less symptoms right? I'm mostly upset how fuckin sick I got. The idea that it could've been worse and I should be somehow thankful when people in my demographic very rarely get hospitalized or die anyways smells like BS to me. On top of that, nobody else seemed to get it who I'm close with, including my gf who I had contact with after showing symptoms. All of them had other vaccines besides the j&j. To me it just seems like a bum ass vaccine that didn't really work.

My wife and I both have Pfizer and caught covid last month. Minor symptoms. Basically a cold with runny nose and sinus headache.

PeppermillRenoHonestly a week ago I might not have agreed with you but I kind of do now. I have a lot of relatives that work in marketing didn't know exactly what they did. Talking about work over Christmas and 'what are you doing' a couple of them said there current gigs were bio/pharm oriented. A cousin younger than me who is a VP at a marketing firm will do clothing and whatever big her current big thing is a vaccine for opiod dependence. Just a huge huge huge industry.
People need to avoid taking their 'medication' as much as possible. Its all designed to keep you coming back for more. Back to covid - I think big pharma and fauci initiated it to get the entire global population primarily young and healthy people who could have avoided the medical system for decades hooked on their 'treatments' so they would be flowing through the system buying pills paying copays and all that stuff. Need to get money flowing into it from people who aren't retired and actually earn money can't have your only customers being boomers and older.

HypeBeastAgree I rarely carry cuz my gun is too bulky and I ain't wearing jeans everyday to support the weight of it. Plus I rarely go anywhere but home and work (where I can't have a gun) so I just have some fox 5.3 in my car for the rare occasion someone tries to jump me at the gas pump (happening a lot lately around here). Need to get a nice small subcompact whenever I get around to stop spending money on new ski shit.
My buddy concealed carries his glock 10mm (lol) all the time winter, summer, rain or shine. He's that guy. Short story, he was in a vape shop (yeah loser I agree) in Idaho and asked the clerk how much something cost. Clerk flips out and starts cussing up a storm and tells my buddy to get the fuck out. So he leaves and this dude chases him out into the parking lot all the way to his car. As the dude continues to approach, my friend lifts his shirt and goes for the draw. The moment he did that, this guy backed off. Wow shocker. Then he called the cops and the guy got arrested but just think about that for a moment. What if that guy was a 250lb meat head and you're a 120lb woman with no self defense or martial arts training. You'd be messed up or worse.
