JLejdepends on the ski and how much you want it.
You are also incredibly dumb and lazy because after 1 google search whitewalkers are $650-$800 with free shipping.
ArgyleNJI tend to agree with you. Every time I see a pair of DPS skis I think "damn those look fucking good, maybe one day I'll be able to justify owning a pair." But if $600-700 gets you a really good pair and allows you to swap out for the new technology every 5 years (or however long) then I can't really see myself ever owning a pair. Granted, I'm not an elite level athlete who would notice much of a difference between "really good" skis and "top of the line" skis.

FruitBootProWas in the store and saw some Whitewalkers, they look great, but...$900??? That shit is definitely gonna be busted up after not that many days. Skis are inherently weak compared to what they're expected to do, so is any ski over $800 or so really worth it?

sarcDPS makes wood core "foundation" skis that are about 1/2 the price of their carbon skis. Buy them in July during their "dreamtime" sale and they're right in that $700 range.
I have a pair of wood core DPS 106 wailer skis that are my favorite skis ever. Not twin tips so a bit off topic for this forum sorry. They make a twin tip "koala" that is also wood core.
What I don't like is the fancy reputation, people think I'm on $1300 skis and I'm not.
