I was riding the lift with a homie today and he had an amazing idea. This has definitely been thought of before and probably posted about but it’s time to finally act on it.

A dating site for skiers, snowboarders can join too cuz we don’t discriminate. I need a girl w slut strands in my life and if I make this site it might actually happen, I also need to make this site cuz I can’t talk to people in person.

So, are there any coders on this site because I have no idea where to start.

A company tried it before in Colorado. They had a super successful chairlift speed dating event, and then released a trash app and died... LuvByrd.

I’m pitching a tbar speed dating day tomorrow to my managers, it’s the perfect scenario, have something to start with for conversation, appropriately sized people being paired together and an active situation the whole way up.

I found the best way was to ride sigles, join strangers of the opposite sex then chat with them. By the top, I know if they are up to join me for a lap.
heh, and people called newschoolers a sausage fest… I can only imagine the male to female ratio.

Whitewater used to put on speed dating around valentines day. First few years were good, but the last 3 years there were 20 guys and 3 girls. The last year was nothing but dudes. It died then…

More men than woman ski in general so the app is going to be saturated with guys. If you're a woman who skis, chances are you don't need an app to find a partner. Or you just use a normal dating app and have a line "points for skiing"

idk, my gf was a beginner skier. would go maybe 1 or two times a year.

I was a level 3 ski instructor and sort of took her on as a project. in the span of three years, she shreds the back bowls and goes touring with me. Obviously doesnt huck cliffs or spin tricks, but i dont really have to wait around for her.

I think its a lot a lot a lot easier to find a girl who you find attractive and teach her how to shred, vs finding a girl who shreds you find attractive. gets worst with age too.

did this with an ex too. I'm not instructor but she was able to get down the cirque at Snowbird by the end of our relationship
